What does a Coach DO?

Finding Solutions
The job of a coach is NOT to provide you with the answers to all of your problems.  A coach's job is to partner with you and your team to help YOU identify problems and solutions.  Why?  Because coaches know that we are the most invested when we create our own solutions, and we have the most passion for the paths we create for ourselves.
Trusted Feedback
Having an honest advisor who will ask you the tough questions, or provide candid interpretations to the thoughts, ideas, and opinions that you provide, can make all the difference.
Accountability
Knowing that you have someone who WILL ask you about your progress and efforts, and hold you accountable for your actions is powerful.  Many of us thrive when we know we will be accountable to someone else.  This isn't a flaw, simply a fact.  Embracing this understanding of ourselves and working with someone who will hold us accountable is often a huge step on the path to success.

Where do we start?

The relationship between you and a coach should be just that:  a relationship.  You should meet with your coach 2-3 times to determine if personalities, philosophies, styles, etc. are compatible to ensure long-term success.
Once we determine this is a good fit, we can either start at your greatest pain point, or work through some sessions to develop clarity around your specific needs.
No two coaching engagements are the same, and we ensure that we:
  • Meet you where you are
  • Treat you and your business as the unique people and organizations that you are
  • Arrive without preconceived solutions

Why Do Business Owners Need a Coach?

People who set out to start their businesses are brave, ambitious, and often masters of their craft, but just because someone is good at providing a service or product does not automatically mean they will be good at delivering it to the world.

Business coaches can help take that ambition and drive and channel it into the correct avenues, ensuring their clients make the right moves to position their company for success.

Remember, every professional athlete has a coach.  Not because coaching fixes problems, but because coaching raises people to greater hights.

What Can Business Coaching Do for A Business?

If you're starting a business, your "to-do" list might seem endless. There are hiring employees, finding suitable office space, legally structuring your business, and proper tax accounting; the loss goes on and on before you even make your first sale.

A business coach can help with all these tasks and analyze your business to see what steps can be taken to maximize profits and instill a positive company culture. Doing so allows you to use your expertise and passion to fuel the business while helping you steer the company in the right direction.

What Are the Benefits of Business Coaching?

You're already good at your craft, so the benefit of business coaching is that you can use your expertise to grow your business. In contrast, your business coach fills you in on the areas of running a company you might need to become more familiar with.

Many entrepreneurs need to gain the know-how to provide a good or service but get bogged down in the everyday challenges of running a business. A business coach keeps that from happening.

What Should I Expect From A Business Coach?

Your coach is your partner in ensuring your business operates smoothly.
Providing insight based on their years of experience, a business coach examines your business and points out your strengths compared to your competition and how to maximize them while also pointing out any weaknesses that can be shored up.
